Marc Jacobs Honey Set

Marc Jacobs Honey Shower Gel | Marc Jacobs Honey Perfume 50ml |
 Marc Jacobs Honey Body Lotion

Such cute packaging I have to say.
Early this morning...I'm talking 8.56am THIS MORNING! An unexpected parcel came for me. Now recently I have developed some what of a shopping addiction, so I am used to having deliveries nearly everyday however this one was so big I was almost 100% sure it was not one of my orders. When I opened it, I found these three boxes inside. I have no clue who sent them to me because there was no note but my address and correct name was on the front, so it's definitely mine to keep. My 19th birthday is next week and this along with Beyonce releasing a secret album yesterday has been such great surprises before it, I may as well call them pre birthday treats. It may be from a competition I entered but I'm really not sure.
Whoever sent it though, I am very grateful & it has made my day. I love a nice surprise and this came at such a good time. I can't wait to try them out. I remember seeing BeautyCrush review this perfume on her blog.

I haven't been motivated to blog much but this really put me in the mood to blog today. It has honestly made me feel better today and look more forward to my birthday next week. I've been deleting a load of old posts on here and plan to try and get back into blogging soon. Thanks for baring with me guys.

It Could All Be So Simple

Headscarf & Chain - H&M | Boyfriend Tee - Primark | Jeans - Topshop 'Leigh'Nike Theas

So I have finally purchased a pair of Topshop Leigh jeans and they are perfect! The fit is everything I have been searching for in skinny jeans. I managed to get them for about £29 thanks to student discount and an old gift card. I needed a new pair of black jeans and was referred to Topshop & I'm happy I was because they are so worth the money. This outfit is another potential uni outfit, seeing as I'm going to start London College of Fashion in a couple weeks and the student style there is something else and I wanted to have a few outfit ideas. The headscarf look will save me from any future bad hair days I may have, I have so many of these silk scarves thanks to H&M so I practically have one for every outfit. It's such a simple style but I love it!
Lastly my latest purchase...Nike Theas. I know my wishlist had the lime green & white ones on there but they've sold out everywhere in the size I want, so I went to Niketown and the girl gave me these & they were actually in my size. I have half size feet & it's a mission to find shoes in those sizes so it was clearly meant to be. On top of that they were on sale so I got them for £57 and when I tried them I actually thought they were more me. The bottom is the same neon lime green like the other ones. I liked styling them with all black because they stood out more but I've got another outfit planned involving them & my slim joggers. This was just one of those days when everything black & gold appealed to me.

Updates:
- I start uni in about 2 weeks so I don't know how I'm going to juggle that & my blog but I'm going to attempt, even if I have to schedule posts, to blog loads.
- I'm a bit lost for what to blog at the moment so excuse the amount of non-OOTD posts or excessive amount of wishlists.
- I have a huge purchases post pending which may be split into clothes & jewellery.

Burberry Prorsum Womenswear S/S'14

All photos courtesy of Burberry Official Website

The best thing about modern technology x LFW is being able to watch live streams of my favourite shows. Burberry Prorsum is definitely one of my favourites! I signed up for an email reminder a few days before to make sure I was reminded & did not forget. So as soon as I got in on Monday & the email reminder popped up way before the show started, I got my iPad ready to watch. When the music started I was prepared for a great show & that is what I received. I am forever impressed with Burberry shows, Christopher Bailey always does a great job!

The show was full of pastel colours, lovely coats & lace clothing but it worked so well together. Jourdan Dunn & Cara were amongst the line up & I spotted Paloma Faith, Jamal Edwards & Alexa Chung on the front row.
I would love to attend a Burberry show one year, everything about them is amazing! The location, the clothes & the people I could possibly meet. The final walk itself was perfect, a shower of pastel petals falling down onto the runway mixed with the pastel outfits was a perfect match. The whole show was filmed on the new iPhone 5s which I must say did a fairly decent job being just a camera phone but I can not wait for the next show.
Bring on A/W'14!

LFW S/S'14 Day1

All photos were taken by me.

So I decided to pop down to Somerset House today despite the dull weather to see if I could get some street style photos at LFW. It's been quite a while since I've taken photos like these so it was fun to get into it again. There was a lot of all black outfits and royal blue going around which I loved but suprisingly there wasn't alot of outfits that appealed to me today. The three asian guys above stood out to me, I loved how they had incorportated their culture into their LFW outfit. Among the dullness however there were some bright outfits about and I tried to snap a few. This blue suit, royal blue is a colour i LOVE, paired with air max trainers looked great, goes to show that you dont need to be suited AND booted to stand out.

I did manage to see a few bloggers but everyone seemed in a rush because of the weather so I wasn't able to get a shot of them, however I did get a few snaps of the lovely Kavita from Shewearsfashion. How cool, she was styled by Rihanna at the Rihanna For River Island Autumn Collection in River Island Park House the other day!! I loved her whole outfit especially the Missguided leather joggers & see through bag. I spotted the Nutella case she mentioned which looked so cool! She made me laugh when it started raining and everyone was still trying to get photos of her. Might go again on the last day with my uni but not sure yet. Can't wait to read all the LFW posts coming up on other blogs.

Asos Spiked Belt

Gold Plated Spike Belt - ASOS

You know that item you've wanted for ages, can never find, yet you see so many people with it.
Well that is this belt for me. I have been wanting this for so long, I've been searching and have even browsed the ASOS site before but never saw it. Then ASOS had their sale & I couldnt resist checking them out. Mid  browse I came across the belt. The belt I had been looking for, for god knows how long! Then as I thought it couldn't get any better it turnt out it was on sale for £4.50, so clearly it could. When it finally came I was so happy! It has push through pin closure & spikes on either side of the gold plate.
I bought it in a small because I want to wear it round my waist with dresses maybe even my black midi. Can't wait to style it on nights out & maybe even a few uni outfits. I do love black & gold.

Lush Lilac Stilettos

Stiletto False Nails - Primark | Lush Lilac by MUA

Let me just say that MUA used the perfect word to describe this colour, lush is exactly what it is!
This is currently my favourite MUA polish, it was 'Frozen Yogurt' but that has now been beaten. It is a lovely pastel colour almost pink but you can see the hint of lilac in it. The MUA range only charges £1 for its normal polishes so I am always looking through them in Superdrug to see what's new. You'd think for that price the quality might be rubbish but you really only need two coats & it dries straight away! Aren't their bottles looking a lot like the Essie ones though, cheeky dupe! Highly recommend this range, they also do makeup for a good price as well.
I decided to do my nails for my friends suprise birthday party & finally got round to using this set of stiletto style nails I picked up in Primark a while back, as soon as I'd painted them I fell in love. I had to take them off the next day for work though, but I'll definitely be doing my nails again soon probably for uni. Which I never mentioned, I got into LONDON COLLEGE OF FASHION!

Oriental Scents

Zara Woman - Oriental
I've never blogged about any of the perfumes I use but this one is worth it.
I picked this up in Zara Parkhouse after spraying it on a testing strip in the store. I thought seeing as it's Zara it would be a bit pricey but when I checked it was only £9.99! So of course I bought two! Each bottle holds 100ml and it has a lovely summery smell which is even better once its set for a couple minutes.
They do a nice selection of perfumes instore & I'll definitely be checking out the rest!

Feels Good To Be Back...

 Blazer - Moschino | Vest & Sandals - Primark | Midi Skirt - Asos | Necklace - Mums

Finally I Am Back!
After months of not being able to blog because I had no internet at home, I am back with a new blogpost!
I feel like I haven't done an OOTD in forever so I decided to do one on my comeback to blogger.
Yesterday I went to a christening and this outfit was put together LAST MINUTE! It's amazing what you can come up with in a short period of time. This Asos midi skirt was bought at a moment when I had money & Asos had sale which seemed to go perfectly well together in my eyes. So whilst fretting over not being able to find an outfit I dragged this out from under the rest of my clothes and decided to get some use out of it.
The necklace is one of my personal favourites, you may have seen it in some other blogposts. It summed up the whole outfit for me on its own. I wore some white sandals with this outfit to finish it off.

Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with blogging now & I have an extreme amount of blog reading to catch up on which I am about to start now!

Judgement.

*currently sitting in Pret blogging this quick post because my mum thought it'd be a good idea to cut the internet during half term hence why I have been missing since 19th March*

Oh how I've missed blogging for the past weeks. I'm in exam preparation for photography and
I wanted to share some of the photos I've produced. These were inspired by the photographer Lee Kirby who took a series of photos of people with tattoos and without. The shoot was named Judgement and I interpreted it as how we judge people differently on appearances. All the tattoos and piercings in my photos are photoshopped in and I tried to make it as realistic as possible. I'm happy with the outcome as this is the first time I've done photoshopping like that.

So now i'm off until my next trip to Pret or when I go back to college or get internet. Whichever one of those occur first.

OOTD // Thai Silk

  Dress - AX Paris Via New Look | Necklace - Mums | Bracelets - Peacocks/Primark |
Heels - Random Shop Wearing heels in an outfit post. That is a first for my blog. I'm not usually a heels person but these I must say are the most comfortable heels I own. For my girl's 18th we went to Thai Silk in O2, it's a nice restaurant which turns into a club at 10pm. She wanted us to wear all black so I went out to get new heels, I've wanted these for ages so thought what better way to kill two birds with one stone. These were £39.99 froma random shop in Oxford Street, they fit really well and I managed to wear them from 6pm - 4am which for me is LONG!
Seeing as the dress code was all black I thought to use my accesories to add something to it. This necklace is my mums and is beautiful, I've been eyeing it up for ages waiting to find something to wear it with. I put on my gold chunky chain bracelet which I need to get a matching chain for and red nails.

Great night out though! The music played was decent, so many old school tunes and garage classics!!
Now I must settle down and crack on with my college work. Guess I'll have to settle for my itunes playlist and my beats by dre for that ultimate club experience until exams are over.

EVENTS | London Fashion Week A/W '13: Day 5

First of all let me say that the girl in the blue jumper & red heels was BEAUTIFUL! If she isn't a model someone needs to scout her. The last day of LFW was, as usual, packed with bloggers, photographers and fashion lovers. Thankfully the sun was out and shining down on Somerset House so the lighting was decent enough for photos. Managed to see all the bloggers I never saw on Saturday including the Twins from London's Closet, Remi & Lucia. All in all the last day was good and I'm glad I went back. I love the street style aspect of London Fashion Week as I think this is where the real style lies. Even though you have to know the real ones from the 'only for fashion week' ones. My friend Fola took some images as well (she snapped the twins photo & the last image on the right) and then we left. Can't believe the 5 days went by so quick.
Now I'm off to catch up on the other bloggers LFW posts.

OOTD // LO N D O N F A S H I O N W E E K - D A Y 2

Jacket - H&M | Midi dress - New Look | Satchel - Primark | Platform Trainers - Schuh
Seeing as LFW is about showcasing your style I didn't put too much effort into my outfit as I was only going to get some photos for myself. These are the white version to my black platform trainers, fresh out the box. Paired them with neon yellow socks to add some form of alternative colour to my outfit. That & my lilac nails, Frozen Yoghurt by MUA, are the brightest things about my outfit. Need to find a necklace to for this dress as I took off my snood.

credits to hanaa for the photography

EVENTS | London Fashion Week A/W '13: Day 2.

Neon beanies & bobble hats were popular today!
 Kavita from She Wears Fashion
Ivania from Love Aesthetics & Sheree from Glitz & Grime

 Singer Beverly Knight

 L O N D O N  F A S H I O N  W E E K - D A Y 2
What a great day I had at Somerset House today with my friend Hanaa. We got there around 11 surrounded by many photographers and people waiting to get photos. Must say I enjoyed today much more than last year. I saw so many of my fav bloggers including Lily Pebbles, Lily Melrose, Kavita & Sheree! Also got a snap of Beverly Knight who came to see the Jasper Conran show. Neon beanies were a big hit this year I kept spotting them everywhere as well as colourful trainers. Loved Kavita's black & white ensemble complete with her transparent clutch bag. Got snapped a few times ourselves which was nice. A day well done I think. Will be putting up as many of todays photos as I can on my flickr in a bit which is linked under my name below.
I love fashion week!!
