Soccer Mom Vibes

One day I will give a full body shot in an outfit post shot on my DSLR...but today is not that day. Sorry.
I literally just shot these photos quickly on Tuesday morning after waking up extra early to do Aunty duties. When I got home I had so much energy I thought why not take some shots of my outfit. By now it's clear that I'm a simple dresser with a basic colour scale. This outfit is somewhere between soccer mom x her daughter. I'm not one to wear hats but when my hair is freshly washed in its natural state, a hat is essential. Adidas is my favourite sports brand clothing wise so I had to have an adidas cap when it came to me deciding where to buy a black cap from.

Anyway this outfit is a simple throw on casual outfit. These skinny joggers from Bershka. Yes! Whoever decided that maybe people wanted to wear tracksuit bottoms without looking like they're about to ride out on the streets. Thank you! Paired them with a basic black tee & my black waistcoat from eBay & of course my black Nike Theas (I seriously need to let them go) and that is how I run errands at 9am.

Sassy Pants

Now if you regularly read my blog you'll notice that outfit posts aren't something I tend to upload. For several reasons, one being that I'm a 'photographer' so it's harder for me to find someone to take my photos, another being I have limited space to do so if I take them myself. Anyways...before I ramble.

Come see how Zara sale has blessed my life guys. Have you ever seen somebody wearing something and you go on the hunt for it, image in your mind, come across it and it's on sale THEN you take it to the till and it's cheaper than the ticket price. Well hello to the best £9.99 I've spent in a long time. I have been on the hunt for these particular trousers and popped into Zara last Saturday to return a dress and saw them. The fit. PERFECT. The length. PERFECT. I can't even express how much I love them and how comfortable they are. I've named them my new Sassy Pants because I walked the streets of London feelin' myself. My style has a very basic colour palette; black, white, navy & occasional other neutral/earthy tones so these being in navy is the best thing ever. I paired them with my Topshop boots and a plain black T-shirt. Sad thing is they're not even online anymore but you might see them pop up in your local store so look out!

The Trench

Primark Trench | H&M Basic Tee | Topshop Leigh Jeans | Nike Theas

I vowed to start this year with photos from my DSLR....oh well.
Let's think of better things like this new trench coat Primark sold to me. Yeah, they sold it to me by stocking it & displaying it where my eyes couldn't miss it. Not that I need anymore new coats/jackets but I couldn't resist for £25. It comes in a deep green colour and navy but for once I didn't opt for the depths of the colour scale. I feel like whenever I wear non black outerwear, my inside outfit is always black. Standard. I walked with a lint roller this day, Lord knows that's essential with all black clothes & the amount of fluff that attached itself to this coat. I'm off again now, I have posts planned I just have to take the photos.
Which....well....I'll just see you then.

Sidetracked

Bomber - Bershka | Top & Bag - Zara | Jeans - Topshop Joni | Nike Thea Premiums

Sometimes people make bad decisions in life. Whoever placed my uni library next to Zara, however, did not.
For my uni project, I'm currently planning a whole shoot based around the oversized trend; big coats & knitwear. So I popped into Zara in Oxford Street to see what they had to offer. Somehow during that time I ended up in the changing room trying on clothes irrelevant to my shoot. It happens. I got some quick OOTD pics before I left to sell my bank accounts soul to Zara, nothing too exciting. My usual black joni jeans, nike theas  and a black top from Zara which looks like their staff top. Oh and yet another bomber jacket. Yeah, that happened too.

Camel Coat Season

   Coat - eBay | Basic Tee - H&M | Jeans - 'Joni' Topshop |Boots - River Island

eBay is the real MVP right now. My watchlist is forever increasing because of things like this.
In my search for a new camel coat I came across this and instantly had to watch it. Don't sleep on those sellers in China guys. This cost me around £40. and was worth it. The collar can turn up to reveal a black underneath and the coat becomes a whole other style. Don't be surprised if I live in it for the next few weeks. The material is such good quality, a soft furry texture & the length is perfect as well. Ugh. I could go on all day about it, believe that.
I can't even deal, let me stop typing..

Greyscale

 Jumper - H&M |Jeans - Topshop "Leigh" | Clutch - Primark | Watch - eBay | Nike Thea Premium

So I pretty much live in greyscale tones. My type of scale.
This jumper is one of my favourites, I love the fit especially on the arms. I bought it to go with some joggers I also bought from H&M, but I sold them on depop recently because they came up too short. It comes in a few other colours and is great for a plain casual look especially with jeans and trainers. I also live in these trainers. I keep seeing people with Nike Theas on YouTube and they really are as great as they all make out, so comfortable and great for everyday or just gym. These are one of the premium designs so they don't sell them anymore but they have so many others in Office at the moment. This outfit would be good to wear back to school/college/uni which I'll probably do when I go back.

A Little Missguided

Bomber Jacket - Missguided | Bodysuit - Primark | Jeans - "Joni" Topshop | Converse - Office

This jacket is a masterpiece in itself. The print is mirrored in such beautiful colours and the jacket itself is a scuba material. I feel like I'm wearing somebodys art work. I saw Sarah Ashcroft wearing it in her recent YouTube video and I fell in love instantly. I had to have it. So imagine how happy I was when I found out Missguided had a discount code for 50% off selected items and this was one! £29.99 to £14.99. They were basically encouraging me. I ordered it Monday morning and it arrived two days later much to my delight. I wanted a nice bomber jacket I can wear out and to uni, this one is perfect and I just might live in it. This is probably how I would style it for uni or casually, I also styled it on my polyvore account (day 'n' night).

My laptop is being a bum so I haven't been able to get pictures from my camera to blog. When my student loan comes in, a macbook is definitely on the agenda as well as a new camera. A 600d or 700d, I need that flip screen in my life, so necessary *JayZ voice*.

T R O P I C S

Necklace - Mums | Vest - Primark | Midi Skirt - Forever21

Somewhere between selling this skirt and keeping it.I picked it up in Forever 21 a while back because the print looked so good and I wanted to try something different instead of jeans. Months down the line, it still resides in my wardobe, tag still attached, unworn. Yeah I have a really bad habit of selling myself dreams when it comes to certain clothing. However before I decide what to do with it, it needs to make its debut on my blog.
Forever 21 really has some great pieces instore, this was more of an impulse buy than anything. It caught my eye and I had to have it just because. I don't even wear skirts but hey, you never know! In this outfit I went really plain with the top, a simple white vest, the skirt is extremely busy so I didn't want to clash plus it brings out the white in the skirt a bit more. I went for this lace detail metal necklace, a personal fav, stolen from my mum's jewellery collection. This would be perfect on holiday with some white sandals, that's what I think of when I look at the print. So maybe that'll be my excuse for not wearing it yet. Saving it for a holiday, whenever that is.

Cleated Soles & Boyfriend Jeans

Crop Top - Primark |Boyfriend Jeans - Topshop 'Hayden' | Cleated Sole Sandals - New Look

Multiple blog photo attempts later & we have finally have an outfit post.
I think I've found a new Topshop denim favourite. The Topshop 'Hayden' jeans are perfect. I'm usually a skinny jean person & Topshop 'Leigh' jeans are the perfect pair in terms of their fit. However when I bought a pair of these for my styling project I fell in love. Ripped denim boyfriend jeans, can you really go wrong. They come in so many different designs but these were my favourite as I'm not big on rips just yet. I actually wore these to Manchester the other day with a loose tshirt but decided to try it with this Boyfriend crop top from Primark & they went so well together. Despite me not actually wearing them outside I wanted to pair this outfit with my new cleated sole babies. I got these in New Look when I was in Manchester. I think I'm going back to New Look to get them in black too! I've wanted chunky heeled sandals for ages and these are perfect! This is about as close to normal shoes I'm going to get at the moment. I'm so ready for England to have more hot days so I can wear these out.

M E S H

Mesh top - eBay | Vest (folded up) - Primark | Jeans - New Look | Nike Thea Premium

You know when you order something online, it arrives and it's not what you expected but it turns out well. I got this top the other day from an eBay seller in Hong Kong, I didn't expect it to look like this but I love it! I also got a longer version which was supposed to be a near midi length dress but it's actually just a longer tshirt that just about covers your bum. Oh well. I put this outfit together to go to WestEnd to return a few bits the other day. It was 25 degrees may I add. Clearly I have learnt nothing about wearing black in the heat. I wasn't brave enough to not wear a vest but maybe next time I may chance it. I'm a huge fan of sheer/mesh/organza clothing at the moment so there was no doubt I was going to buy this & it cost less than £3.
A lot of my jeans seem to disagree with my thighs at the moment so I was prepared for these to self-destruct (rip) as I walked down the road but they held together thankfully. I just invested in some Topshop Hayden jeans though. Ripped boyfriend jeans, love them!

I'm going to Manchester tomorrow, I wanted somewhere new to shop and to see the area for the first time. I'm not sure how, but I want to do a big June haul on my blog. We'll see how that goes.

Y E L L O W

90's Crop Top - Miss Selfridge | Jeans - Topshop | Jacket - Zara | Bag - Primark

Firstly, can we just applaud Zara for this beauty of a jacket...
You know in romantic novels when one person can't stop thinking about another day in day out, well that was me and this jacket. I contemplated getting it, accidentally (on purpose) passing through Zara one too many times to look at it and try it on. Then finally gave into it. Glad I did too.
Zara's spring collection colour scheme is winning right now. Pastels everywhere. Seriously, I'm a student, I shouldn't be getting myself into this but this was an investment well made. This is the first time I've worn it out and believe me I can be seen from miles away. If your not a fan of yellow, there is now a similar jacket in the most beautiful pastel blue colour though. I could ramble on about this jacket forever but I won't. Everything else in the outfit was pretty casual as I was only going for lunch & shopping with a friend.

That's all. Hope everyone has a happy Easter.

Slow Spring Transition..

Top & Leggings - Zara | Boots - New Look | Watch - eBay

So I remember saying how I wouldn't put mirror pictures on my blog anymore but I was passing through Charlotte Martin's blog here and she said something about it being easier for her to take photos like this than the digital camera ones and I 100% agree. So here's to making my blog the way I like it and more outfit posts. I mean, this is the way I take photos best tbh.

On to the outfit, aside from the boots, the main outfit is from Zara. I picked up this nice lace/chifon top in the sale and teamed it with a black bandeau underneath along with these Zara leggings which I highly recommend. The thickness is great and they can actually be worn with a short top without the embarassment of visible undergarments lol. I also got a new pair of black boots from New Look via Asos but I'm planning to return or give them to my mum because I don't like the fit. This is my first attempt to edge into spring clothing this year, my aim is to wear more colour as supposed to all the neutral tones (black) I live in.

Now Usually I Don't Do This But Uhh....

Necklace - Mum's | Skater Dress - New Look |Watch - eBay |Boots - River Island

The title of this post is actually the opening line to RKelly's "Ignition" song but in relation there are two things I don't usually do often. Post mirror photos on my blog and wear dresses. I can't seem to find anywhere to take outfit pictures, hence the lack of them on my blog, so this is a one off because I liked this outfit quite a bit. Which leads on to the second thing...I'm wearing a dress & not a long tshirt, an actual dress.
I picked up this grey skater dress in the New Look sale even though I believed there was nothing in there for me & I LOVE it. So much, that I want to wear dresses all the time now. I went through a phase of wearing midi dresses last year but that soon died down and back came the jeans & leggings. This dress is so light and just the right length & fit for me. I need to invest in another pair of boots because I live in these ones. I love chunky heeled boots and these vagabond dupes are the most perfect boots to grace my wardrobe. I have to say this outfit worked for me in so many ways & it can be worn now or in summer with some variation.

My second term project is well underway and I'm thinking of basing it around Marilyn Monroe. Hopefully I'll be able to share a few images on my blog when it's done. Its my styling uni so that means I can shop with a good excuse (hehe) I look forward to getting it done.

It Could All Be So Simple

Headscarf & Chain - H&M | Boyfriend Tee - Primark | Jeans - Topshop 'Leigh'Nike Theas

So I have finally purchased a pair of Topshop Leigh jeans and they are perfect! The fit is everything I have been searching for in skinny jeans. I managed to get them for about £29 thanks to student discount and an old gift card. I needed a new pair of black jeans and was referred to Topshop & I'm happy I was because they are so worth the money. This outfit is another potential uni outfit, seeing as I'm going to start London College of Fashion in a couple weeks and the student style there is something else and I wanted to have a few outfit ideas. The headscarf look will save me from any future bad hair days I may have, I have so many of these silk scarves thanks to H&M so I practically have one for every outfit. It's such a simple style but I love it!
Lastly my latest purchase...Nike Theas. I know my wishlist had the lime green & white ones on there but they've sold out everywhere in the size I want, so I went to Niketown and the girl gave me these & they were actually in my size. I have half size feet & it's a mission to find shoes in those sizes so it was clearly meant to be. On top of that they were on sale so I got them for £57 and when I tried them I actually thought they were more me. The bottom is the same neon lime green like the other ones. I liked styling them with all black because they stood out more but I've got another outfit planned involving them & my slim joggers. This was just one of those days when everything black & gold appealed to me.

Updates:
- I start uni in about 2 weeks so I don't know how I'm going to juggle that & my blog but I'm going to attempt, even if I have to schedule posts, to blog loads.
- I'm a bit lost for what to blog at the moment so excuse the amount of non-OOTD posts or excessive amount of wishlists.
- I have a huge purchases post pending which may be split into clothes & jewellery.

Feels Good To Be Back...

 Blazer - Moschino | Vest & Sandals - Primark | Midi Skirt - Asos | Necklace - Mums

Finally I Am Back!
After months of not being able to blog because I had no internet at home, I am back with a new blogpost!
I feel like I haven't done an OOTD in forever so I decided to do one on my comeback to blogger.
Yesterday I went to a christening and this outfit was put together LAST MINUTE! It's amazing what you can come up with in a short period of time. This Asos midi skirt was bought at a moment when I had money & Asos had sale which seemed to go perfectly well together in my eyes. So whilst fretting over not being able to find an outfit I dragged this out from under the rest of my clothes and decided to get some use out of it.
The necklace is one of my personal favourites, you may have seen it in some other blogposts. It summed up the whole outfit for me on its own. I wore some white sandals with this outfit to finish it off.

Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with blogging now & I have an extreme amount of blog reading to catch up on which I am about to start now!

OOTD // Thai Silk

  Dress - AX Paris Via New Look | Necklace - Mums | Bracelets - Peacocks/Primark |
Heels - Random Shop Wearing heels in an outfit post. That is a first for my blog. I'm not usually a heels person but these I must say are the most comfortable heels I own. For my girl's 18th we went to Thai Silk in O2, it's a nice restaurant which turns into a club at 10pm. She wanted us to wear all black so I went out to get new heels, I've wanted these for ages so thought what better way to kill two birds with one stone. These were £39.99 froma random shop in Oxford Street, they fit really well and I managed to wear them from 6pm - 4am which for me is LONG!
Seeing as the dress code was all black I thought to use my accesories to add something to it. This necklace is my mums and is beautiful, I've been eyeing it up for ages waiting to find something to wear it with. I put on my gold chunky chain bracelet which I need to get a matching chain for and red nails.

Great night out though! The music played was decent, so many old school tunes and garage classics!!
Now I must settle down and crack on with my college work. Guess I'll have to settle for my itunes playlist and my beats by dre for that ultimate club experience until exams are over.

OOTD // LO N D O N F A S H I O N W E E K - D A Y 2

Jacket - H&M | Midi dress - New Look | Satchel - Primark | Platform Trainers - Schuh
Seeing as LFW is about showcasing your style I didn't put too much effort into my outfit as I was only going to get some photos for myself. These are the white version to my black platform trainers, fresh out the box. Paired them with neon yellow socks to add some form of alternative colour to my outfit. That & my lilac nails, Frozen Yoghurt by MUA, are the brightest things about my outfit. Need to find a necklace to for this dress as I took off my snood.

OOTD // College Attire.

Snood & Satchel - Primark | Skirt & Leather Jacket - H&M | Platform Trainers - Schuh | Top - River Island

Just a quick one today as I have alot of revision to do before my resit exam tomorrow, so doing a quick post on what I wore to college today. Love this H&M skirt, I picked it up in their sale. It was the only thing I liked in the womens sale, for some reason it wasn't that good this time round. The mirror effect on it makes it more beautiful, it looks like a painting.

Back to revision now and good luck to everyone with exams.

OOTD: London Fashion Week.

Leather Jacket - H&M | Top & Shorts - Primark | Flatforms - Schuh | Glasses - Joy
My chosen outfit for LFW day 4. When I got there I actually felt too casual. I was gonna wear a blue dress but it came up too short so this was my alternative & I was happy with the final result. Credits to my friend Hanaa who photographed me.

I also joined the Motel Rocks Street Team today so I'll be sharing a special discount code with you all soon so you can get 20% off when you shop on their site. I'm just sorting out my username.

Southend Attire: Minimal Effort, Maxi Dress.

 Dress - Random Shop | Converse - JD | Bag - H&M | Belt - Primark

"Oh! I do like to be beside the seaside. I do like to be beside the sea!..."
Cheesy intro sorry bout that.

This is what I wore to Southend yesterday. I bought this maxi dress recently from a random shop in Wood Green. H&M had a similar black maxi but they've never had my size so when I found this for only £10 I thought why not! I went for black as I usually do and paired it with converse and my H&M bag. I wore a jeans jacket over it, as Southend can get a bit chilly. Had a lovely day out even though I only went on two rides at Adventure Island, I'm not really a big fan of rides. I won 249 tickets in the arcade and choose a bubblegum machine (I added more sweets in there) as a prize, I also won a soft toy in those grabber machines which I thought never worked!!
