Spring Florals

Floral Swing Cardi - New Look

I am dead serious about not wearing all black in spring. I'm really trying to adjust my style to the different seasons instead of looking like Wednesday Addams dressed in black everyday. I popped into New Look twice recently and this lovely kimono style cardigan caught my eye. The first time I ignored it but the second time I  couldn't leave it behind. I picked it up in a size 12 so it could be more oversized but everything about it, I love! The print. The fit. The lightness of the material. I can't wait to style it properly with my new joni jeans and converse or even some nude wedges in the summer.

Everything I've bought recently is colourful, vibrant spring/summer for me.

My Top Threes | eBay Accessories

So I've been trying to think of new posts to do on the blog. I want to blog more but I have no clue what to write about aside from the usual OOTD and haul posts every blogger does. So I've decided that I'm going to start a "My Top Threes" post and I've started off with eBay accessories because they've impressed me lately and I really used to doubt them. [They aren't in order of favouritism]

1. I recently bought a new black bag because I got bored of carrying my Zara City bag everywhere. This one is a nice faux leather one and cost £19.99, the seller has some other great bags as well. It fits all my uni stuff in it without being too heavy which is great.
2. This is my favourite thing in my room at the moment. A nail polish dispay for £19.99. It holds 70 polishes which I thought would be too much but for me, its definitely not! I'm obsessed with nails so this is vital for me. I'm going to do a Top Threes for my Nail Polishes as well so watch out for that.
3. This might not be to everyones taste but I wanted a novelty case beside my clear and full cover ones so I opted for this. I love the design so much, dollars just seem to look so much better than English notes. "singing dollar, dollar bill y'all" I just searched for 'dollar phone case' on eBay.

So that's my Top Three eBay accessories, not sure if everyone will like these posts but I'm going to try them out.
Finally started my easter break from uni, a whole month off, the possibilities are endless!

Wishlisting for Spring/Summer

Listography/My Future Listography | Amazon 1 / 2
Canary Yellow Coat | Zara
White Joni Jeans | Topshop

- Is it reasonable for me to spend £99.99 on a coat. YES, because if you see it in person it is amazing!!
- Books that actually allow me to organise my life into lists, favourite restaurants included.
- White jeans is a BIG step for me but I'm willing to leave my black jeans in my wardrobe for a while.
- Another black bag just because...
- The silver metallic platform trainers I have been lusting over for life.

Haven't done a wishlist post in ages but for S/S these are my major wants.
Seriously though guys, this coat and I need to happen.

Slow Spring Transition..

Top & Leggings - Zara | Boots - New Look | Watch - eBay

So I remember saying how I wouldn't put mirror pictures on my blog anymore but I was passing through Charlotte Martin's blog here and she said something about it being easier for her to take photos like this than the digital camera ones and I 100% agree. So here's to making my blog the way I like it and more outfit posts. I mean, this is the way I take photos best tbh.

On to the outfit, aside from the boots, the main outfit is from Zara. I picked up this nice lace/chifon top in the sale and teamed it with a black bandeau underneath along with these Zara leggings which I highly recommend. The thickness is great and they can actually be worn with a short top without the embarassment of visible undergarments lol. I also got a new pair of black boots from New Look via Asos but I'm planning to return or give them to my mum because I don't like the fit. This is my first attempt to edge into spring clothing this year, my aim is to wear more colour as supposed to all the neutral tones (black) I live in.

Favourite Newbies

WEAR:

I buy clothes every month, despite the lack of space in my wardrobe. Firstly, this camel Zara blazer. I got this in the Zara sale, a place I keep finding myself in, I always hear people talk about their sale but I've never actually been to it. As soon as my eyes met this jacket I couldn't believe my eyes, not only because the quality was superb but because it was only £29.99 from ..... £109! Enough said!
Secondly, I finally got round to getting a gold watch. I found this one on Asos for around £28, it's the exact type was looking for however I'm not sure if I want a darker gold. I think I'll keep it though, I just need to get some links removed so it doesn't slide up and down my wrist.

SMELL:
So I recently got a perfume sample of Nicki Minaj's new perfume 'Minajesty' and instantly fell in love. I can't explain the smell well apart from saying it's quite fruity, lasts long and smells better once its sunk in throughtout the day. I had to go out and buy it as soon as it came out and the bottles are pretty good sizes. This one is a 50ml, the 100ml looked like an ornament so I opted out of that one.

READ:
The first book is one of those inspiration and positive thinking books. It helps you to learn how to make the most out of situations, think better as well as improving business strategy. I am yet to get through it all but even my mum likes it. The second book is actually not one I got recently but I'm reading it now. I wanted this book for years and it recently came out on paperback so I had to get it and it is such a good read, its to do with the holocaust and is really detailed but makes you want to read more.

Greenberry x Leopard

Barry M 'Greenberry' | H&M 2 Way Nail Art Pen

This is my favourite nail polish EVER! It's the perfect aqua colour and is part of the Gelly Hi-Shine collection. Urgh. I'm really into nails; polishes and nail art especially. I picked up two of these nail art pens in the H&M sale for £1 each and wanted to find a simple design to get use of them. I've always wanted to learn how to do the leopard print nail art and found a youtube tutorial from Wah Nails on it. Not bad for a first attempt!

Styling Project - Ms. Monroe

So I've literally just handed in my styling project for term 2 at uni and I never thought it would be so tiring. I used myself as the model and it was quite fun but I think I must have taken over 100 images just to get the perfect 5. We had to choose a style icon to style in five themed contemporary looks; from l-r denim, suit & tailoring, evening, sportswear, own choice. I choose Marilyn Monroe as my icon, I always loved her figure and the way her clothing complimented it. We had to put a contemporary twist on the looks using the icons style elements. I used red lips, white, black and high waisted denim as my style element as well as the mid length dress. The pastel suit is my most favourite, ugh! I found it in Topshop for a hefty price but so worth it!

Can't believe I'm nearly onto the last term of the 1st year, time has been flying by!
