It Could All Be So Simple

Headscarf & Chain - H&M | Boyfriend Tee - Primark | Jeans - Topshop 'Leigh'Nike Theas

So I have finally purchased a pair of Topshop Leigh jeans and they are perfect! The fit is everything I have been searching for in skinny jeans. I managed to get them for about £29 thanks to student discount and an old gift card. I needed a new pair of black jeans and was referred to Topshop & I'm happy I was because they are so worth the money. This outfit is another potential uni outfit, seeing as I'm going to start London College of Fashion in a couple weeks and the student style there is something else and I wanted to have a few outfit ideas. The headscarf look will save me from any future bad hair days I may have, I have so many of these silk scarves thanks to H&M so I practically have one for every outfit. It's such a simple style but I love it!
Lastly my latest purchase...Nike Theas. I know my wishlist had the lime green & white ones on there but they've sold out everywhere in the size I want, so I went to Niketown and the girl gave me these & they were actually in my size. I have half size feet & it's a mission to find shoes in those sizes so it was clearly meant to be. On top of that they were on sale so I got them for £57 and when I tried them I actually thought they were more me. The bottom is the same neon lime green like the other ones. I liked styling them with all black because they stood out more but I've got another outfit planned involving them & my slim joggers. This was just one of those days when everything black & gold appealed to me.

Updates:
- I start uni in about 2 weeks so I don't know how I'm going to juggle that & my blog but I'm going to attempt, even if I have to schedule posts, to blog loads.
- I'm a bit lost for what to blog at the moment so excuse the amount of non-OOTD posts or excessive amount of wishlists.
- I have a huge purchases post pending which may be split into clothes & jewellery.

Burberry Prorsum Womenswear S/S'14

All photos courtesy of Burberry Official Website

The best thing about modern technology x LFW is being able to watch live streams of my favourite shows. Burberry Prorsum is definitely one of my favourites! I signed up for an email reminder a few days before to make sure I was reminded & did not forget. So as soon as I got in on Monday & the email reminder popped up way before the show started, I got my iPad ready to watch. When the music started I was prepared for a great show & that is what I received. I am forever impressed with Burberry shows, Christopher Bailey always does a great job!

The show was full of pastel colours, lovely coats & lace clothing but it worked so well together. Jourdan Dunn & Cara were amongst the line up & I spotted Paloma Faith, Jamal Edwards & Alexa Chung on the front row.
I would love to attend a Burberry show one year, everything about them is amazing! The location, the clothes & the people I could possibly meet. The final walk itself was perfect, a shower of pastel petals falling down onto the runway mixed with the pastel outfits was a perfect match. The whole show was filmed on the new iPhone 5s which I must say did a fairly decent job being just a camera phone but I can not wait for the next show.
Bring on A/W'14!

LFW S/S'14 Day1

All photos were taken by me.

So I decided to pop down to Somerset House today despite the dull weather to see if I could get some street style photos at LFW. It's been quite a while since I've taken photos like these so it was fun to get into it again. There was a lot of all black outfits and royal blue going around which I loved but suprisingly there wasn't alot of outfits that appealed to me today. The three asian guys above stood out to me, I loved how they had incorportated their culture into their LFW outfit. Among the dullness however there were some bright outfits about and I tried to snap a few. This blue suit, royal blue is a colour i LOVE, paired with air max trainers looked great, goes to show that you dont need to be suited AND booted to stand out.

I did manage to see a few bloggers but everyone seemed in a rush because of the weather so I wasn't able to get a shot of them, however I did get a few snaps of the lovely Kavita from Shewearsfashion. How cool, she was styled by Rihanna at the Rihanna For River Island Autumn Collection in River Island Park House the other day!! I loved her whole outfit especially the Missguided leather joggers & see through bag. I spotted the Nutella case she mentioned which looked so cool! She made me laugh when it started raining and everyone was still trying to get photos of her. Might go again on the last day with my uni but not sure yet. Can't wait to read all the LFW posts coming up on other blogs.

Asos Spiked Belt

Gold Plated Spike Belt - ASOS

You know that item you've wanted for ages, can never find, yet you see so many people with it.
Well that is this belt for me. I have been wanting this for so long, I've been searching and have even browsed the ASOS site before but never saw it. Then ASOS had their sale & I couldnt resist checking them out. Mid  browse I came across the belt. The belt I had been looking for, for god knows how long! Then as I thought it couldn't get any better it turnt out it was on sale for £4.50, so clearly it could. When it finally came I was so happy! It has push through pin closure & spikes on either side of the gold plate.
I bought it in a small because I want to wear it round my waist with dresses maybe even my black midi. Can't wait to style it on nights out & maybe even a few uni outfits. I do love black & gold.

Lush Lilac Stilettos

Stiletto False Nails - Primark | Lush Lilac by MUA

Let me just say that MUA used the perfect word to describe this colour, lush is exactly what it is!
This is currently my favourite MUA polish, it was 'Frozen Yogurt' but that has now been beaten. It is a lovely pastel colour almost pink but you can see the hint of lilac in it. The MUA range only charges £1 for its normal polishes so I am always looking through them in Superdrug to see what's new. You'd think for that price the quality might be rubbish but you really only need two coats & it dries straight away! Aren't their bottles looking a lot like the Essie ones though, cheeky dupe! Highly recommend this range, they also do makeup for a good price as well.
I decided to do my nails for my friends suprise birthday party & finally got round to using this set of stiletto style nails I picked up in Primark a while back, as soon as I'd painted them I fell in love. I had to take them off the next day for work though, but I'll definitely be doing my nails again soon probably for uni. Which I never mentioned, I got into LONDON COLLEGE OF FASHION!
